Our 2024-25 Annual Campaign theme is Stronger Together: United Communities Thrive. Over the past year, we have been working hard to foster several new collaborations which resulted in programs and partnerships that are already making a difference. Working together makes us stronger, and by uniting with a focus on helping others, we can ensure our community thrives.
Our goal for this year's campaign is $1.1M, and our work is just beginning. We have critical needs in our communities, as the number of ALICE households in Beaver County has increased from 38% to 39% in one year. According to the United Way of Pennsylvania, the budget needed by a family of four to just survive rose by $16,000 between 2021 and 2022. It is no wonder that the calls for help we receive have more than doubled, and the stories are becoming more desperate and discouraging. We must continue to support ALICE households, helping them achieve financial stability.
How you can help
You can help improve the lives of those less fortunate in Beaver County by making a donation to the United Way of Beaver County that will be allocated to our 17 Member Agencies that serve your families, friends, neighbors and coworkers when they are in need. We're asking everyone to give just a little more than they did last year. Whether its one dollar or one percent more per pay period, or a bit extra as an individual donor, your generosity will make a lasting impact.
