The United Way of Beaver County (UWBC) held its annual Kick-Off Breakfast to launch the 2024/2025 Campaign Season at The Fez in Aliquippa on Tuesday, October 2. The event was attended by many supporters of the UWBC from throughout the county, as well as representatives from the UWBC’s 17 Member Agencies, the 12 non-profit organizations who were awarded ALICE Mini Grants, and many others.

Day of Caring 2024 had 135 volunteers served at various agencies and non-profits across Beaver County.
This summer, three fundraising events for the United Way of Beaver County (UWBC) exceeded previous years' totals, significantly contributing to the 2024/2025 Annual Campaign, which aims to raise $1.1 million.
On July 27th, Styropek and BASF, two prominent industrial leaders in Beaver County, united once again for the annual golf outing at Beaver Valley Golf Club, raising $22,681. With Styropek's commitment to match this amount, the total donation to the UWBC exceeded $45,000.

The Day of Caring is a community-wide volunteer event happening with the 17 United Way of Beaver County Member Agencies, as well as other non-profit organizations around the county, being held on September 18, 2024.
