The Day of Caring is a community-wide volunteer event for which the United Way of Beaver County pairs volunteers with Beaver County non-profit organizations for one day to help the non-profit complete a special project.

The United Way of Beaver County (UWBC) is pleased to announce that $50,000 in grants have been awarded from The ALICE Fund to four Beaver County non-profit organizations that provide utility bill payment assistance. These ALICE mini-grants are to serve the ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) households in Beaver County specifically, as ALICE families often do not qualify for other utility assistance programs.
The United Way of Beaver County (UWBC) is grateful to announce that all donations to our Annual Campaign or to The ALICE Fund from #GivingTuesday through the end of 2024 will be matched by Shell Polymers Polymers Monaca up to $16,500!
